'Indian Army has carved a niche for itself'

"The rally is a step by the Army to ameliorate the conditions of unemployed youth of the Valley. The unprecedented, huge turnout for recruitment implies that the Indian Army has carved a niche for itself in the hearts and minds of Kashmiris. The youth have realised the importance of the Army and they want to join the defence force," the defence spokesman added.
