"It was good to smell the oxygen once again and I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity".
This is what Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma, the first Indian to travel in space, said after flying the Boeing F/A -18 'Super Hornet' in a forty-minute sortie at the recently concluded Aero Show at Bangalore.
Sharma told rediff.com that it was an exciting experience. "I had not flown an aircraft for quite some time and I must say that it was great to be flying once again," Sharma added.
