In the aftermath of the 26/11 terror attacks on Mumbai, the Maharashtra chief minister has become a target not just for local terrorists like the Naxals but also the international variety.
Eastern Maharashtra has been a hotbed of Naxal acitvity and the districts of Chnadrapur and Gadchiroli are Naxal havens.
