'No farmer will commit suicide during our rule'

The leader also criticized the United Progressive Alliance and added that though government is saying there is economic improvement in reality farmers are committing suicide in large numbers especially in states ruled by the UPA. The BJP therefore has given priority to two sectors in its recently released Manifesto, namely agriculture and farmers and security and armed forces". He further added, "No farmer will commit suicide during our rule due to the burden of loan".
The BJP leader was however silent on the Varun Gandhi issue and neither did he make any mention of the shoe throwing incident in New Delhi.
