While the media in most of its reports mention that Malegaon is a communally sensitive town, the picture after the morning namaaz was completely different.
Muslims, who were returning to their home after the namaaz, were offered water by Hindu residents near the Idgah.
Says Swaroopachand Vastwal, who offered water: "These people are like our brothers. If they ask for water it is our duty to quench their thirst. That's what universal brotherhood is all about."
