The Delhi government had collected nearly Rs 1,05,375 in fine till October 17, said R P Vashishtha, head of the Delhi Tobacco Control Cell.
According to Vashishtha, very few clubs and restaurants in the capital have shown interest in building separate smoking lounges.
Most of them want to comply with the ban as even if they build separate smoking places, they cannot serve their customers there, he said.
