How Anshuman of Bankura got into MIT

The rest is history. On March 17, Anshuman went to the same cyber cafe, accompanied by his mother Swapna, to surf the results online. And there it was -- Anshuman's dream turned into reality that afternoon.
"The results were out on March 16, but the day being a Sunday, the cyber cafe was closed and I got the chance to check the result the next day," Anshuman recollected.
"He studies 10-12 hours every day," said Anshuman's parents. "He is extremely focused and sincere. His ability to concentrate is simply amazing," they added.
Basking in their son's glory, the proud parents have started missing their son already. "Wish we could afford a trip to the US with him," they said.
