'I don't know what terrorism means'

July 27, 2008
As the ambulance reached the trauma ward and Ashwinbhai and Ganpat got down, they faced the most horrible shock of their lives. Blasts completely engulfed the area.

Many bodies were thrown up in the air like missiles. People's legs and hands got mutilated as if they were made of mud. Ashwinbhai told rediff.com that Ganpat literally walked on fire. His legs have been severely burnt, but both friends are still not feeling hopeless like Mathurdas or Biriben.

"Do you understand how lucky I am? I survived two blasts. I am so lucky. It is just unbelievable," Ashwinbhai said.

Kanu Solanki, an employee of the Trauma Ward, is too shocked to speak.
