At least 25 people, including three CRPF jawans, were injured in a blast at Banihal bus stand on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway on Friday.

The blast occurred near a CRPF vehicle parked at the bus stand in Ramban district, police said. Security forces and police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the hospital, they said.

Among injured, five are stated to be critical, they said, adding police and security agencies are investigating the nature of the blast.

"It may be either a grenade blast or most probably a landmine blast," a police officer said, adding patrolling has been increased in the area and at Ramban, Batote, Kud, Ramso areas in view of threat perception.
