Politicians of all hues have now become the integral part of the 'Dahi Handi' celebrations on the occasion of 'Gokulashtami', which this year falls on Sunday (August 24).
Politicians pump in money and rope in celebrities to rev up the festive spirit. Musical events and shows by popular comedians are organised to attract large crowd. Not to miss the opportunity, corporates sponsor the event and use the platform for advertisements.
