Top hotel rooms in India's other three major metros on an average still verge on four figures, in dollars.

No surprise that luxury suites are more expensive in Hyderabad than in Chennai or Kolkata, given that the city has hosted the likes of US President George Bush, former American President Bill Clinton, British Prime Minister Tony Blair, World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz, Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates and more.
