How the end came
Soon after, things changed drastically. Over the last 48 hours, the situation took a turn for the worse. On Tuesday, Mahajan's condition deteriorated further after he began suffering from acute respiratory problems.
Since that announcement, Rahul Mahajan -- who would be seen two to three times a day outside the hospital -- was nowhere to be found. Mahajan's immediate family was also missing.
