A Shaadi to Remember
Steel magnate Laxmi Mittal, who has recently made a bid to take over European steel rival Arcelor, along with his wife Usha arrived in the Indian capital for the wedding hours before the departure of the baraat.
Mittal was the most sought after person at the wedding. Newspapermen chased him till he gave a short statement that his Delhi visit had nothing to do with French President Jacques Chirac's visit over the weekend. He was spotted in a tete-a-tete with Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel.
Filmmaker Subash Ghai made a brief appearance and asked the Mittals if they would be visiting Mumbai during their visit. "We will keep in touch," the industrialist told Ghai as he moved away with Patel to another part of the lawn.
