Former US President Bill Clinton [Images] with school children affected by the tsunami at Thalanguda in Cuddalore, some 168 kms south of Chennai, December 1.

Clinton visited the tsunami-affected region in his capacity of the UN Secretary General's Special Envoy for Tsunami [Images] Recovery, and reviewed recovery efforts.

The tsunami which hit the Indian coastline December 26, 2004, killed over 200,000 people including over 15,000 in Tamil Nadu,
