Like his older brother Tiger, Ayub too is wanted in connection with the March 12, 1993 Mumbai blasts, besides terrorism and arms smuggling.
It was at the Memon home in Mahim, north-central Mumbai, that the blasts plan was hatched and it was in the same house that the conspirators stored the explosives.
The Mumbai police and customs department had detained Ayub several times before he escaped to Pakistan just before the serial explosions.
