The moderate Hurriyat Conference on Friday announced a five-member delegation led by its Chairman Mirwaiz Umer Farroq for talks with the Centre on September 5.

The team comprises former Hurriyat Chairmen Abdul Gani Bhatt and Maulavi Maulana Abbas Ansari, Bilal Gani Lone and Fazal Haq quereshi, Mirwaiz said.

The delegation will leave for New Delhi on September 4, he said.

All the four are the members of the Executive Committee of the Hurriyat and had visited Pakistan in July.

The Hurriyat's meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [Images] would be its first with the UPA-led government since it came to power in May last year.
