When Vikram Seth met Aamir Khan

The highlight of the evening was the entrance of actor Aamir Khan.

It took a good 15-20 minutes for folks to notice that the man clad in a grey sweatshirt, standing at the back with a group of Penguin and Taj staffers, was Aamir Khan.

One or two sharp-eyed photographers discovered their photo-op of the evening and soon a whole herd of them was galloping over to the back of the room, in reverse gear, like salmon swimming upstream.
