On Monday at 1514 IST many in Mumbai, other parts of Maharashtra and in neighbouring Goa [Images] and Karnataka felt tremors.

It was an earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale and epicentred at Koyna in Maharashtra's Satara district, some 200 km from Mumbai.

Many people were in their offices when the earth shook, some were at home, others out on the roads.

Where were you? What were your immediate thoughts and responses?
