Fresh landslides blocked the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway again on Thursday, disrupting traffic, police said.
A massive landslide triggered by torrential rains at Somroli in Udhampur, 275 km from Srinagar [Images], blocked the arterial road in the morning, the police said.
A traffic control spokesman said Border Road Organisation personnel were engaged in clearing the highway and traffic was likely to be resumed in three hours.
Several passenger buses, which left Srinagar for Jammu, had been stopped at Pantha Chowk on the outskirts of Srinagar, the spokesman added.
