'The national anthem gives me goose bumps'

Lots and lots of people sacrificed their lives for the freedom and Independence of our country, hence freedom does mean a lot to our nation and our people. It is up to us to be responsible citizens, maintain peace and use the freedom in the best possible way.

Representing the country is the biggest possible pride for me. Every time, before I play an international match, I stand till the singing of the national anthem ends. It gives me goose bumps.

So it is really a matter of great pride for me that I am doing something for the country. I am fiercely patriotic, and have always wanted to do something for the country and this is my small way of contributing something.
