Repolling ordered in 232 polling stations in Bihar

The Election Commission ordered repolling in 232 polling stations in various parliamentary constituencies in Bihar on May 10, an official spokesman of announced on Saturday.
He, however, indicated that none of the booths in Chhapra, where Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Laloo Prasad Yadav is fighting Rajiv Pratap Rudy of the Bharatiya Janata Party, was among the 232.
Repolling was ordered in 15 booths in Madhepura, where Laloo is also fighting Sharad Yadav of the Janata Dal (United ). The polling booths are in the Kumarkhand, Singheshwar, Madhepura, Sonbarsa, Kishanganj and Alamnagar assembly segments.
The maximum number of 92 repolling cases are in the Monghyr parliamentary constituency.
In Purnea where feared don Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav is contesting on the Lok Janshakti Party ticket, repelling would be done in eight cases including the Dhamdaha, Banmakhi and Purnea assembly segments.
The other constituencies where repolling would be done are Balia, Saharsa (from where Pappu Yadav's wife Ranjita Kaur is contesting on the LJP ticket), Araia, Kishanganj (from where BJP's Syed Shahnawaz Hussain is contesting), Katihar, Banka, Bhagalpur, Khagaria, Begusarai, Motihari and Sitamarhi.
