The US invasion of Iraq and the Israel-Palestine conflict raised the heat in WSF.

Iraqi Democratic Front leader Amir al Rekaby pleaded: "This movement is very helpful for my people and we need your support. There's a grave conflict in Iraq and we must now rally support against the American war and its policies in the world."

Damning the occupation of Iraq, he said the US war against Iraq was nothing but a political weapon and a 'new hegemonic method'. "Time is running out," he said "and the WSF should form a international crisis committee for Iraq and launch a counter attack on the US intentions."
