Long time Peace Boat member Nami Yamamoto thanks the students, mostly from Sophia's and Jai Hind College in Mumbai, who had turned up to welcome the ship. The guests headed to Sophia's for an interactive session before proceeding to Goregaon for the inauguration of the WSF meet.

Some others attended the opening of the Intercontinental Youth Camp at the Don Bosco High School in Matunga, central Mumbai.
