At present, Peace Boat focuses on educational peace voyages - around the world or in the Pacific region onboard a large passenger ship. Every year it organises three 3-month Global Voyages and one or two shorter Regional Voyages.

On an average, it has about 500 participants who visit up to eighteen countries during each voyage. Majority of them are Japanese students.
