"We have got definite information that ISI is supplying arms and ammunition to ULFA for conducting bomb blasts throughout the state," IGP (special branch) Khagen Sarmah told PTI.

He said there has been a significant change in the strategies adopted by the banned outfit of late, which showed the growing influence of the ISI.

Earlier ULFA opted for selected targets, but is now carrying out blasts in public places, he said.

Claiming that ULFA's commander-in-chief, Paresh Barua, is the mastermind behind the recent bomb blasts in the state, Sarmah said the outfit's leader is completely guided by the ISI.
