"Both the mother and cubs are eating well, so we are happy," Dr K D Batwe, veterinary officer at the national park, told The Indian Express newspaper.

"Renuka responded well to the breeding and now the Jijamata Udyan has asked for a pair for white tigers too," A R Bharti, deputy director of the national park, told the paper.

There are now nine white tigers in the park.
