Last Updated: October 06, 2003 22:10 IST

A lab report on "insect infestations" in a Cadbury chocolate bar has come out positive, the Maharashtra Food and Drugs Administration said on Monday

The report was positive for the presence of two dead and one live insect, FDA Commissioner Uttam Khobargade said in Mumbai.

"We will prosecute the chocolate manufacturing company, Cadbury India Ltd," he said.

On October 3, the MFDA had ordered seizure of all Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolates from the multinational giant's factory at Talegaon near Pune after the detection of worms in a chocolate bar.
