The judge heard arguments from both the prosecution and the defence on the quantum of punishment to be awarded to Sharma and decided to postpone his verdict till Friday.

Main convict Sushil offered no arguments and said he would bow to the judgement of the court in deciding the quantum of punishment.

However, Keshav Kumar said he has suffered eight and half years of imprisonment, which should be a sufficient punishment.
