Former Punjab director general of police, K P S Gill, honours Nisha Sharma for her courage to fight against dowry, in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Nisha, a 21-year-old software engineering student, called the police when her bridegroom, Munish Dalal, and his parents allegedly demanded a car and Rs 1.2 million in cash at the time of her wedding on Sunday night.
