Pakistani border guards check the bus to Delhi at the Wagah border post. The bus is carrying 28 passengers. The bus, termed 'dosti bus', was given a ceremonial send-off by Pakistan Tourism Minister Raes Munir Ahmad.

The last Pakistani bus travelled to New Delhi on December 31, 2001 and returned on January 1, 2002 before India severed the road link.
