Slight tremor in Gujarat's Kutch region

A tremor of slight intensity was felt in the Rann of Kutch region of Gujarat in the early hours of Wednesday.

The tremor, which measured 4.0 on the Richter scale, occurred at 0057 IST, a preliminary earthquake report from the Indian Meteorological Department in Delhi said.

Earlier, an earthquake of slight intensity had been felt in Bhavnagar district in the early hours of Monday.

The quake, which measured 2.8 on the Richter scale, occurred at 0440 IST, an IMD release had said on Monday.
