Shrikant Vaman Deodhar's ancestor Bhikaji Deodhar started it all a hundred years ago when Lokmanya Tilak made Ganesh Chaturthi a rallying point for Indians clamouring for freedom.
Deodhar's unit employs 25 people and makes about 12,000 idols every year.
