An amateur astronomer sets up his telescope at the Nehru Planetarium in New Delhi. On August 27, visibility was low in New Delhi because of cloudy weather.

The director of the planetarium, Dr N Rathnashree, dismissed astrologers' reading of the celestial rendezvous as bad for the country's political scenario. "It is just a coincidence," she said.
