In the wake of a MIG-21 jet crashing into a bank building in Jalandhar killing seven people, the Indian Air Force on Friday suspended flight training on an entire batch of a MIG-21 variant.
A court of inquiry has been ordered into the cause of the crash, an IAF spokesman said in New Delhi.
He said the suspension of the flight training on MIG-21 Type 75 would remain in force till the court of inquiry submits its report.
The spokesman said operational flying on the variant, however, would continue.
