Lashkar, Jaish, Hizb form
coordination panel

Aiming to intensify militant activity in south of Pir Panjal ahead of assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, three terrorist outfits -- Jaish-e-Mohmmed, Lashkar-e-Tayiba and Hizbul Mujahideen -- have set up a joint coordination forum, official sources said.

The forum headed by a top commander has been set up with the aim to intensify attacks in Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Udhampur, Kathua and Jammu.

A meeting of top commanders of all three outfits was held in Surankote hills recently and the JCF was set-up under the command of a local commander, Shmas Khan, the sources said.
