Grenade blast in Pulwama, 25 injured

Mukhtar Ahmad in Srinagar

Twenty-five people, including six officers of the Border Security Force and state police, were wounded on Monday when a grenade exploded at Laroo Jageer Tral in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Sources said that the injured were being treated at the Base hospital and the Bone and Joint Hospital in Srinagar.

The security forces cordoned off Laroo Jageer Tral in the morning and mounted a search.
