In yet another hooch tragedy, three persons died in the wee hours of Tuesday after they consumed illicit liquor at Acharappakkam in Kancheepuram district, the police said.
They said 20 people were hospitalised. This is the third such incident in the region since September last.
More than 25 persons died after they consumed illicit brew at Kottur village in Tiruvallur district on October 6, while 13 persons lost their lives in Ambattur in September.
