Manipur governor says
decision in two days

Manipur Governor Ved Prakash Marwah on Monday said he would take a final decision on the political impasse in the state within two days after exploring all possibilities and meeting concerned political leaders.

Marwah told reporters in Imphal that he had held discussions with constitutional experts and the advocate general to find a way out of the crisis.

"I will explore all possibilities before taking a decision," he said.

Marwah said he would meet the speaker and a number of political leaders on Tuesday.
