Condolence Message:Today, I saw Vajpayee smiling on Zee news as he announced that there would be an increase in taxes.
His smile became wider when he stated that much of the foreign aid received would be returned "with interest".
I was shocked.
First of all, why would the PM be smiling during such a time of tragedy, and secondly, what does he plan to do with all the foreign aid, if not give it to the needy?
How does the question of giving back aid even arise in the face of the sheer magnitude of this tragedy?
Something is definitely fishy.
Are the higher ups planning to indulge in corruption?
