Condolence Message:Let us truly pray for the dead and the bereaved who have had to deal with this disaster in the worst possible way - to lose loved ones is one thing but to experience the aftermath and ordeal of living without the ones that were loved is another. I too have relatives in Ahmedabad (Maninagar and Navrangpura) and they have fortunately eascaped the worst but nevertheless, the women and children were picked up and taken away to pastures relatively safer such as Anand and Baroda. As a UK living Indian, I am sure I speak for all Indians that we are with the victims and especially more so the bereaved who have to somehow carry on with life. I am due to fly out to Baroda and will try and get Ahmedabad to do my bit, that is after attending my brother-in-law's wedding ceremony..which I sincerely hope is toned down and kept sensible..any sign of a band or fervent celebrating then I will be forced to intervene and stop the disrespect to the national disaster. Such celebrations to do with anything should be kept to a minimum of fuss and play, it is too near and close to the recent events - PLEASE LET US ALL RESPECT THE DEAD AND THE BEREAVED, AND PRAY TO GOD FOR THE ETERNAL RESTING OF OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS SOULS. Jai Shri Krishna Samir Patel
