Pakistan arrests 30 Jaish-e-Mohammed members

A day after reportedly detaining Maulana Masood Azhar, the chief of the Jaish-e-Mohammed, Pakistan police on Wednesday arrested 30 militants from the office of the terrorist outfit, witnesses said.

Azhar, who was picked up from the Punjab province, was being held at an undisclosed location.

"Azhar is in the custody of security agencies," government spokesman General Rashid Qureshi said.

India has blamed the Pakistan-based outfit for the attack on its Parliament on December 13.
