Condolence Message:As a part of the great software industry cosmos, I have the deepest of regards and respect for Dewang Mehta. Having heard him at a seminar, you couldn't help but respect this slightly odd looking man in a wig. A fierce proponent of the Indian software industry, he believed in a strong, resilient industry, unparalled by anyone else. That is the major reason why we are today an IT giant. If the Indian today commands respect in the global IT scene, the major credit goes to NASSCOM and to the visionary leader, Dewang Mehta. As the CEO of a small IT services company today, I today feel a void in the IT world. We will find a new leader to carry his legacy along, but there will always be one Dewang. Dewang, we'll miss you.

Condolence Message:India will certainly miss Dewang. Dewang Mehta was the Sachin Tendulkar of Indian IT industry. I along with all my indian brothers and sisters share the responsibilty to fulfill his dreams. His dream was to make india the IT superpower. His dream was to take the indian IT exports to $80billions by 2008. Its a tough task, but not tough enough for us hardworking indians.

Also the taxi driver who spoke with his wife on a Video Telephone from Mumbai to a remote village in Rajasthan. Also the 'n'number of people who are directly or indirectly related to him.
