Waheeda Rehman's husband passes away

Kamaljeet, husband of yesteryear's star Waheeda Rehman, died of brain haemorrhage on Tuesday at Bombay's Leelavati Hospital.

Kamaljeet had accompanied Waheeda to Bombay where the actress was to shoot for Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. (The couple lived in Bangalore.)

But after just a day, Kamaljeet took ill and Waheeda had to excuse herself from the movie to take care of him. Achla Sachdev then replaced her in the film.

Kamaljeet too had acted in a few films and played the leading role in Son of India.
