Jagir Kaur appears before the CBI

Bibi Jagir Kaur, president of the Shiromani Gurudwara Prabhandak Committee, appeared before the Central Bureau of Investigation in New Delhi on Friday.

She was accompanied by her lawyers. Many of her supporters also thronged the CBI headquarters.

Jagir Kaur is one of the accused in the mysterious death of her daughter Harpreet. The Punjab and Haryana High Court had granted bail to Kaur on Wednesday and had instructed her to appear before the CBI in Delhi before 11 am.

CBI Special Investigating Unit Cell officers will interrogate Jagir Kaur.

Jagir Kaur arrived from Chandigarh Thursday night and visited Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in New Delhi Friday morning before coming to the CBI office.
