INSAT3B launched

E-Mail this report to a friend

INSAT3B was successfully hurled into space by an Ariane-5 launcher from Kourou in French Guyana early today.

As the payloads, Asiastar of the Worldspace Corp and INSAT3B of the Indian Space Research Organisation separated after liftoff, scientists gathered at the space centre clapped their hands for the successful separation.

While Asiastar separated 27 minutes after liftoff, INSAT3B separated exactly seven minutes and 56 seconds later.
