Chargesheet filed against four in Rajvansh murder caseThree months after former actress Priya Rajvansh was strangulated to death at her Juhu bungalow, the police have filed a chargesheet against four accused. Ketan and Vivek, sons of the late film producer Chetan Anand, their domestic servant Mala Choudhary and her relative Ashok Chinaswamy have been charged under IPC Sections 302 (murder), 120 (b) (conspiracy) and 34 (common intention). The chargesheet was filed on July 1 by the Juhu police in the court of a metropolitan magistrate at Andheri, defence counsel Satish Maneshinde told PTI today. Priya, who shared a close relationship with Chetan, was found dead on March 27. After a post-mortem, the police claimed it was a case of suicide. A second post-mortem revealed that she was strangulated to death, before being hit with a sharp object on the head. Ketan and Vivek were arrested along with Mala and Ashok on April 4. Both brothers were alleged to have conspired the murder, as they had disapproved of Priya's visit to the Juhu bungalow. Police claimed that Mala and Ashok had killed Priya. Ketan and Vivek, however, said Priya was accepted as a family member and she used to visit the bungalow for dinner every day. They also refuted the police allegation that Priya was against selling the house and was therefore murdered. The court had earlier rejected the bail plea of Ketan and Vivek. PTI
