Investigative reporting is sorely lacking in India. Most journalists make a living by toeing the line of their pseudo-secularist masters. That is why India is so corrupt. The Romesh Sharmas of India thrive because of the Congress that ruled and ruined the country. Thank you, Shenoy for exposing them. Hopefully, names will come out and the culprits will be punished.

It is sad that journalists in India do not understand that they have only one duty. And that is to get real information to the masses. The general public do not know who the real criminals are because we have journalists like Shenoy (Without naming names), who shamelessly shield corrupt politicians and police.

A good article by T V R Shenoy! But I did not like his style of not naming anybody, though I can understand the reason that the investigation is in progress. I saw an article in Delhi accusing Sushma Swaraj of having met Romesh Sharma after she became the Delhi CM. This immediately alarmed me since I knew this guy (Romesh Sharma) was an old Congressman. T V R Shenoy has brought out the reason why Sushma Swaraj was targeted by that newspaper. I agree that a political inquiry by the RAW and the CBI should be initiated and Romesh Sharma's contacts exposed. This affair is a serious setback to those mediamen who are eager to bring back the Congress to power. That is why they are silent about his misdeeds. Mukund Kute

Please expose all the activities of Romesh Sharma and the politicians protecting him. These people need to be given capital punishment. Raghunath Nair

You are naive or not willing to face the truth. You have made a case as if the BJP is different. Jayalalitha must be an angel, and obviously the BJP has made no effort to protect her. The Jain hawala scam certainly did not involve top BJP leaders! They are all honourable men, whom the Supreme Court has acquitted. All the major political parties of this nation have one common goal -- to loot the country. But no powerful criminal is convicted. Romesh Sharma will not be convicted, that is for sure. Thanks Shenoy for highlighting the legacy of Indian politicians. I will only say that the deep-rooted belief of the Indian citizens about the BJP has been shattered. It is hard to believe that stalwarts like Sushma Swaraj and Yashwant Sinha have enjoyed his hospitality. However, I hope BJP leaders like Advaniji and Atalji will come forward to save the country's image. Hem Dutt Shukla |
