Jain report will have explosive findings: MoopanarTamil Maanila Congress president G K Moopanar says the Jain Commission's final report, excerpts of which were published in a leading English daily on Saturday, would contain explosive material. Addressing the media which sought his views on the excerpts -- exonerating the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazagham -- Moopanar parried all questions about the Commission. He said he was not surprised by the DMK's exoneration as he knew about it 20 days ago. He was convinced that the DMK was not involved in the conspiracy. That was why he stood by the DMK in the United Front when there was a demand for its expulsion from the combine after the Commission's interim report was submitted to the the Inder Kumar Gujral government. There should be a distinction between post-assassination and pre-assassination support to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam as most political parties in Tamil Nadu had at one time or the other supported the militants, he said.
