Meet Bollywood's BUSIEST Actors

There are 11 actors, who are among Bollywood's busiest, working on multiple films simultaneously.

Just who are they?

Joginder Tuteja tells us.

Akshay Kumar
Currently shooting for: Mission Mangal, Housefull 4, Good News, Sooryavanshi, Laaxmi Bomb, Prithviraj Chauhan

Akshay Kumar remains one of the busiest actors in Bollywood, with as many as six films coming up for release.

After three hits last year (PadMan, Gold and 2.0), he's already had a hit in Kesari this year.

He will be seen next in the space adventure Mission Mangal with Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan and Taapsee Paanu.

Then, there's the comedy ensemble Housefull 4 and family drama, Good News, with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh.

He has already started shooting for Rohit Shetty's next actioner, Sooryavanshi, and the horror comedy, Laxmmi Bomb.

Laxmmi Bomb is directed by Raghava Lawrence and is a remake of his Tamil hit Muni 2: Kanchana. It co-stars Kiara Advani and R Madhavan.

Then, there's Chandraprakash Dwivedi's historical Prithviraj Chauhan.

 

Ajay Devgn
Currently shooting for: Tanaaji: The Unsung Warrior, Bhuj: The Pride Of India, RRR, Amit Sharma's next, Luv Ranjan's next

Ajay Devgn is just as busy.

After De De Pyaar De, he will be seen in the historical Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior, where his real life wife Kajol will play his wife on screen. Saif Ali Khan also stars.

Bhuj: The Pride Of India tells the story of 300 women of Madhapur, Gujarat, who played a pivotal part in India’s victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war by repairing the only runway in Bhuj that had been destroyed during the war. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Parineeti Chopra and Rana Daggubati.

Devgn has also been cast in SS Rajamouli's RRR, co-starring NTR Jr, Ram Charan Teja and Alia Bhatt.

Badhaai Ho director Amit Sharma will direct a football film with Devgn while Luv Ranjan's next will co-star Ranbir Kapoor.

 

Salman Khan
Currently shooting for: Bharat, Dabangg 3, Inshallah, Kick 2

After delivering the disappointing Race 3 last year, Salman will be seen in two biggies this year.

His 2019 Eid release is Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat, opposite Katrina Kaif. It will be followed by Prabhudeva's Dabangg 3, opposite Sonakshi Sinha.

He has also signed up for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's romantic drama, Inshallah, opposite Alia Bhatt, which will be followed by Sajid Nadiadwala's actioner Kick 2.

There are rumours that the script for Tiger 3, the third installment after Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai, is being put in place.

 

Ayushmann Khurranna
Currently shooting for: Article 15, Bala, Dream Girl, Shubh Mangal Jyada Saavdhaan, Gulabo Sitabo

After four back-to-back hits (Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho) Ayushmann has quite a bit to look forward to.

There's Anubhav Sinha's cop drama, Article 15, the shooting for which is underway.

Then, there's the comedy, Bala, with Bhumi Pednekar, where he goes bald.

He gets to wear a sari in the comedy, Dream Girl, opposite Nushrat Barucha.

Ayushmann will be seen in a gay love story in Aanand L Rai's Shubh Mangal Jyada Saavdhaan.

He will also reunite with his Vicky Donor director for Gulabo Sitabo; its cast includes Amitabh Bachchan.

 

Ranbir Kapoor
Currently shooting for: Brahmastra, Shamshera, Luv Ranjan's next with Ajay Devgn

Ranbir Kapoor's superhero film, Brahmastra, got postponed from a Christmas 2019 release to the summer of 2020.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, it co-stars his real life girlfriend Alia Bhatt.

Karan Malhotra's Shamshera will see him as a dacoit, and it co-stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor.

And then, there's the Luv Ranjan film with Ajay Devgn.

 

Saif Ali Khan
Currently shooting for: Jawani Janeman, Aanand L Rai's next, Bhoot Police, Tanaaji: The Unsung Warrior

Saif Ali Khan is busier than ever before.

While he has wrapped up the second season of the web series, Sacred Games, he will be in seen in the romcom, Jawani Janeman. A father-daughter story, it will see the debut of Pooja Bedi's daughter, Aalia Furniturewala.

Bhoot Police is a horror comedy with Fatima Sana Sheikh and Ali Fazal.

He also co-stars in the Ajay Devgn-starrer, Tanaaji: The Unsung Warrior.

 

Tiger Shroff
Currently shooting for: Siddharth Anand's next with Hrithik Roshan, Baaghi 3, Rambo

Student Of The Year 2 is done and dusted.

Tiger will be seen next with Hrithik Roshan in Siddharth Anand's action thriller.

He is also getting ready for Sajid Nadiadwala and Ahmed Khan's Baaghi 3, which will take him into familiar action territory.

Tiger will also be seen in a remake of the Hollywood cult film, Rambo.

 

John Abraham
Currently shooting for: Batla House, Pagalpanti, Rensil D'Silva's next

John Abraham's Romeo Akbar Walter (RAW) may not have worked according to plan but the actor will be seen in a variety of movie genres.

Batla House is an action drama thriller, directed by Nikkhil Advani and co-starring Mrunal Thakur.

Anees Bazmee's comedy ensemble Pagalpanti has been shot in London.

He will also start shooting for Kurbaan director Rensil D'Silva's next production on bike racing.

 

Sidharth Malhotra
Currently shooting for: Jabariya Jodi, Marjaavaan, Sher Shah

His films -- Aiyaary, Ittefaq and A Gentleman -- may not have done well commercially, but Sidharth has quite a bit on his plate.

He recently wrapped up shooting for Jabariya Jodi, opposite Parineeti Chopra.

He will romance Student Of The Year 2 actress Tara Sutaria in Milap Zaveri's love story, Marjaavaan, co-starring Riteish Deshmukh and Rakul Preet Singh.

He has started training for his patriotic drama, Sher Shah, a biopic on the life of Captain Vikram Batra, the Indian Army officer who was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra for his bravery during the 1999 Kargil War.

 

Kartik Aaryan
Currently shooting for: Pati Patni Aur Woh, Imtiaz Ali's next, Anees Bazmee's next

After delivering back-to-back hits with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Luka Chuppi, Kartik Aaryan has become busy juggling between two films.

Pati Patni Aur Woh is a romcom, starring Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Pandey.

Then, there's Imtiaz Ali's love story with Sara Ali Khan.

He has also signed up for an Anees Bazmee romcom opposite Disha Patani.

 

Rajkummar Rao
Currently shooting for: Mental Hai Kya, Made In China, Rooh-Afza, Turram Khan

Stree has been a major turnaround for Rajkummar Rao, and he will be seen in even more interesting films.

There's the comedy Mental Hai Kya with Kangana Ranaut.

It will be followed by Made In China, where he plays a Gujarati businessman struggling to flourish in China. It co-stars Mouni Roy. 

Rooh Afza is a horror comedy, which sees his co-star Janhvi Kapoor in a double role.

There are talks that a Stree sequel will be made with Shraddha Kapoor opposite him again.
