KJo's Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham turns 11

Karan Johar's second directorial venture Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (K3G), which released on December 14, 2001, turned 11 today.

'11 years to #K3G......cant believe its been that long....memories and moments on set are indelible,' Johar tweeted.

The filmmaker is currently holidaying in one of his favourite cities -- New York -- where his film Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna was shot.

'The most liberating feeling for me is walking the streets of new york....every beat inspires me and makes me think of a million stories!!! Sleepless in new york.....so many thoughts consume me...so many memories affect me...so may dreams await me,' he wrote.

Ameesha Patel confirmed the news of her opting out of Sunny Deol starrer Singh Sahab The Great.

'Gudmrng guys.yes news is true..iv had to back out of. Siingh saheb the great due to ever changing schedules..my best wishes to anil Sharma,' she tweeted.

The actress added: 'Hope anil sharma makes another kikass film like gadar.unfortunately I can't b a part of the film.'


SRK to attend former Malaysia PM's birthday

Shah Rukh Khan is headed to Malaysia to attend the birthday party of the country's fourth Prime Minister Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad.

'Daughter did a ballet performance...the son held my hand thruout the journey from airport...i get reintroduced to lov by them everyday. Now onward to Malaysia for a few hrs...my friend the respected Dr. Mahathir's birthday...then bak to shoot. Pvt plane pvt thoughts...' he updated.

Dr Mahathir and his wife Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali had dropped by Shah Rukh's home Mannat for Christmas during their tour of India in 2010.

Sonam Kapoor turns Santa Claus

This Christmas, Sonam Kapoor will be auctioning about 60 ensembles from her fashionable wardrobe that includes a variety of international labels and high-end desi designer brands. She is raising money for the NGO Smile Foundation which supports poor children.

'The countdown has begun! 10 days to for my wardrobe to go on sale on Pernia's Pop-Up Shop. #fashionforacause' Kapoor tweeted.

She has teamed up with her good friend Pernia Qureshi for the cause on whose e-commerce site the outfits will be auctioned.
